Project Manager, Leadership and Business Development, Can be located anywhere near Elizabethtown, KY, Glasgow, KY, Nashville, TN vicinities.
Education and/or Training:
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; college preferred.
5 years
of recent Mechanical Contracting experience in HVAC/Plumbing
Position
Summary:
To be responsible for all aspects of assigned project including contract and insurance review, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating with contractors, coordinating with equipment companies, coordinating with customers, completing purchase orders, completing change orders, project closeout, project follow-up, as well as cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers.
Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
A. Management of selected projects, including:
1. Preparation of budgets.
2. Preparation and review of submittals and shop drawings.
3. Purchase of project materials and equipment rentals.
4. Supervision of Project Superintendent and field personnel.
5. Preparation of monthly billing requests and change orders.
6. Preparation of project closeout, including review of job costs with Project Superintendent.
7. Follow-up with Owner/General Contractor, as appropriate.
B. Assist in operations management. This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Suggesting improvements for the reliability of manpower scheduling.
2. Carrying out project management policies and procedures.
3. Coordinately and scheduling of sheet metal fabrication.
4. Enforcing QA/QC programs.
5. Managing project risk.
6. Developing guidelines and controls to increase efficiency and productivity on jobsites.
7. Continuously improving accuracy and reliability of job cost reporting.
C. Act as a liaison and provide direction to the Human Resource Department to ensure:
1. An adequate workforce and staff are maintained and nurtured.
2. Appropriate skills are provided in order to meet job requirements.
3. The company safety program is being implemented and maintained.
D. Marketing and project development, including:
1. Development of sales leads with Owners, General Contractors, Engineers, and Architects.
2. Assistance to Engineering Department to interpret design criteria and formulate proposal strategy.
3. Preparation of project estimates.
4. Preparation and delivery of oral presentations and written proposals.
5. Promotion of the company through public and private functions and activities.
6. Cultivation and maintenance of customer relationships.
Requisite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of computers and computer software, contract language, AutoCAD drawings, technical language related to the construction industry, and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and equipment related to the job.
2. Interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, basic accounting skills, contract writing skills.
3. Ability to manage a budget, process change orders, process purchase orders, mange time effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, take responsibility for decisions, adapt to a rapidly changing work environment, and accept and assume responsibility for all aspects for a project.
Education and/or Training:
1. High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; college preferred.
2. PMP certification desired.
Essential Functions and Physical Requirements:
Lifting - Up to 50 pounds
Standing - Approximately 8-12 hours per day with two rest breaks (one in the a.m. and one in the p.m.) and one 30-minute lunch break
Sitting - Up to 10 hours per day occasionally
Climbing and/or working at heights - On ladders and/or scissor/boom lifts
Temperature Extremes - Exposed to extreme temperatures (0 -105 F outdoors; 30 -140 F indoors)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
