DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Follow all safety rules at all times, using all PPE as required daily; maintain proactive attention to safety, including keeping work area clean and orderly. Always inspect all equipment prior to use and report any discrepancies immediately.
Maintenance duties include machinery installation, machine repair, and physical structure repair work. The qualified applicant will have proven electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, welding, and strong equipment troubleshooting skills. The applicant must have the ability to work with and read precision measuring devices, circuit diagrams and mechanical blueprints.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.Detect faulty operations, defective materials and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision; perform all other duties as assigned or needed
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma required, post-secondary education preferred.1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Solid reading, writing, computer, and mathematics skills including decimals & fractions; ability to follow written and oral instructions; read and interpret precise measuring instruments; work well with others on the team; teachable, accurate, neat, flexible, manage time well, punctual, reliable, responsible.
REQUIRED TRAINING:
FM Glasgow Maintenance Apprentice Program or Technical Certification; Hazardous Materials Awareness (HAZMAT); Respirators; Aerial Life; LOTO; Rigging;
Hazardous Materials Communications (HAZCOM); Electrical Safety Certification;
General Safety/PPE; SPC/OPC; Fall Protection, Confined Space, Forklift Certification; others as may be determined necessary
PREFERRED SKILLS
Positive approach to work; initiative, leadership, creativity. Computer and keyboarding skills. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. Strong electrical background in factory automation with ability to trouble shoot and repair photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, encoders and experience with robotics. PLC troubleshooting / programming skills including CPU, back plains, I/O boards, counters, modules, devices, and communications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical lifting of up to 50 lbs. repeatedly; walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, carrying, overhead movement; ability to work in tight spaces and/or a heated environment. Successful passage of drug screen and post-offer physical exam.
An allergy to nuts may result in a severe reaction within this facility.
