Responsible for printing labels/lidding for production. Operates and maintains printing equipment. Weighs, measures and checks labels to ensure batches printed contain proper quantities and adhere to company specifications. May help in validating processes of printing equipment. Maintains records and clean environment to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures.
Operates (to include set-up) maintains, and cleans printing equipment according to specifications and procedures.
Performs quality/accuracy verifications, inventory control and corresponding documentation for all printing plates and printed batches.
Performs adjustment to printing equipment as needed to ensure output adheres to company specifications.
Performs routine maintenance and operation related trouble-shooting and problem solving.
Compliance with cGMPs and written procedures for all activities completed.
Responsible for maintaining competency for Printer Technician responsibilities.
Ability to perform at or above established quality and productivity standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA.

High School Graduate, and
4 years related work experience, or similar combination of education and experience.
Ability to meet the requirements as specified for this position.
Must have computer experience and proficient in Word and Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize.
Ability to work with very little supervision.
Mechanical Skills.
Proofreading Skills.
Preferred Q_u_alifications: _(if above and beyond the minimum required)_
Formal cGMP training or equivalent experience in regulated industry.
Flexographic Printing Press operation experiences.
Labeling Regulation Knowledge.
Mechanical ability.
Physical Demands:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to twelve (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
