Job Type Full-timeDescription$5,000 Sign-On-Bonus with 2-Year-Commitment JOB SUMMARYThe primary focus for this role is to:
Responsible for the leadership and management of comprehensive clinical quality informatics initiative for TJ Samson Community Hospital.
Responsible for developing strategic informatics strategy with the primary goal of advancing the quality of healthcare services delivered.
Responsible for development of clinical workflows, data analysis, and creation of policies and procedures that support the clinical quality informatics initiative.
Leads and facilitates work across interdisciplinary workgroups in order to balance the interests of all appropriate stakeholders and accomplish goals.
Proactively communicates and collaborates with staff, physicians, department directors, and executive leadership to understand and address decisions, issues, and questions that are required to complete project deliverables.
RequirementsJOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum EducationBachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in good standing.
Required SkillsPrevious work experience in a Practice Management setting preferred.
Project management and leadership skills required.
Familiarity with Clinical Applications and working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
Strong Clinical Skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Strong IT skills.
Minimum Work ExperienceExperience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Plans, reviews, and oversees implementation of activities, resources and timelines required to achieve clinical quality projects and reporting.

Coordinates clinical quality activities with IT management to ensure system design is in alignment with best practices for Meaningful Use and Quality Measurements.
3.
Oversees performance monitoring and analysis with an emphasis on tuning and troubleshooting system specifications to meet quality thresholds.
4.
Facilitates and oversees the development of clinical workflows that support the clinical quality informatics initiative.
5.
Facilitates and oversees the development of policies and procedures that support the clinical quality informatics initiative.
6.
Plans, coordinates, and executes the registration and attestation requirements for submission of quality data.
7.
Demonstrates leadership skills and the ability to direct clinical quality team to achieve organizational goals.
8.
Actively collaborates with TJ Department Directors to develop, implement, and support workflows to achieve the organization's clinical quality goals.
